Travel & Stay
Our venue will be located just north of Taipei center. Below you'll find a few hotel options we recommend, along with information on flying to Taipei Taoyuan International Airport (TPE).
Shinlin District
For guests seeking convenience, we recommend Renaissance Taipei Shilin — our wedding venue. Staying on-site means easy access to the ceremony and reception, with no need to arrange transportation on the day. It's conveniently located 5 minutes walk from Shilin MRT Station making it easy to see the rest of the city. It also happens to be one stop from Shilin Night Market, one of the more well known evening destinations in Taipei.
A link to book rooms at the venue from Feb 26-28th through our room block will be available in September. If you'd like to say longer, please make a separate reservation and let the hotel know; they'll be happy to link the reservations for you to keep you in the same room.

More Places to stay
Taipei has many great options for accommodations from hotels to AirBnb's.
If you're looking to stay in a different neighborhood or for something closer to your budget,
here are a few additional hotel options we like in Taipei.

Shilin District

8 min to venue by car
Just a short cab ride down the street to our venue, Tango is a great Taiwanese hotel that provides a budget friendly option that's 4 min walk from the famous Shilin Night market.

Zhongshan District
$$$
20 min to venue by car
Just a short walk from Zhongshan Shopping District and station, it's a central location makes it accessible to many parts of Taipei. We also going here to get beef noodle soup on the second floor bar.

Zhongshan District
$
15 min to venue by car
If you're looking to be closer to the center of town, Parkview Taipei's a great spot close to Songjiang Nanjing MRT Station.
Flying to Taipei
Most guests joining us from out of town will fly into Taipei Taoyuan International Airport (TPE), about an hour outside the city. We personally love Starlux Airlines for the smoothest ride — EVA Air and China Airlines are great alternatives, and all three fly direct from major U.S. cities such as LAX and JFK. US carriers also offer connecting options as well.
If you're joining us from elsewhere in Asia, keep an eye out for flights into Taipei Songshan Airport (TSA) instead. It's much closer to the city center, so you'll be at your hotel in no time.
Most countries such as US, Canada, and UK can enter Taiwan visa-free for tourism for 90 days upon arrival. Please check online for specific visa requirements for your passport. As a general rule, please make check that your passport expiration date is at least 6 months from when you expect to enter.
Getting to the Venue

Getting from the airport to the venue is pretty easy with a couple options available.
By Taxi
The simplest option. Taxis are available right outside the arrivals hall — just tell the driver "Renaissance Taipei Shilin" (or show them the address below). The ride takes about 45–60 minutes depending on traffic and cost about $1500 NTD ($50 USD)
Hotel address:
台北士林萬麗飯店
台北市士林區中山北路五段470巷8號
By Airport MRT
A budget-friendly, scenic alternative. Take the airport MRT to Taipei Main Station (making sure to catch the purple express train, not the local train), then transfer to the Red Line going to the Shilin MRT stop and exit the station using Exit 2 to walk 5 min to the venue. This option takes about 1.25 hours and costs $180NTD ($6 USD)
