Your presence at our wedding — especially for those of you flying in internationally to celebrate with us in Taipei — is truly the only gift we could ask for. That said, many of you have asked about gifts so we wanted to share a couple of options.

In Taiwanese wedding tradition, guests often gift the couple a 紅包 (hong-bao) or red envelope, containing money as a symbol of good fortune and blessings for the couple's new life together. It's a meaningful custom we're happy to share with you, and if you'd like to participate, you're welcome to bring a red envelope on the day of the wedding.
